Privacy Notice

This notice explains what personal information TaskGO PH collects, why, who can see it, and the rights you have under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

Version October 21, 2026.

1. Who is responsible for your information

TaskGO PH is operated by ZAMPLACE WEB PORTAL SERVICES (DTI Business Name No. 8517025), registered to Rich Win Monterola, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines, which is responsible for how personal information is handled on TaskGO PH. For privacy questions or requests, contact us through Contact or email [email protected].

2. Information we collect

When you create an account

Your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash, never as plain text), city or municipality, account type, and optionally your skills and a short bio. Company accounts also give a company name.

When you build your profile

Headline, location, summary, skills, certifications, previous work history, and optionally your age, sex and a profile photo. You also choose whether your public name shows as your first name and last initial, or your full name.

When you use the marketplace

Tasks and gigs you post (including work photos), offers and counteroffers, contracts and their terms, cancellations and reasons, cash acknowledgments, ratings and feedback, messages, notifications, and reports you submit.

Delivery maps and optional rider location sharing

If you add delivery stops, we store the pickup and drop-off pins and optional address labels with the task. Exact delivery stops are shared with the client and assigned rider; other taskers receive only an approximate pickup area. Keep public task descriptions and the main Location field to a general service area if you do not want an exact address to be public.

An assigned rider can turn on GPS sharing during an active delivery by tapping Turn on location for that delivery. A browser location permission given elsewhere on TaskGO PH (for example to pin a task) never starts sharing by itself. After the rider turns it on, sharing resumes for that same delivery when they return to it, until they turn it off or the job ends. Only the delivery participants can access the latest shared position, GPS accuracy and reading time through the delivery location service. Each update replaces the previous position; we do not build a route history. Sharing stops when the rider stops it, leaves the delivery screen, signs out, hides or closes the page, the rider marks the parcel delivered, or the contract ends. Readings expire from access after 90 seconds without an update; expired records are cleared when accessed or as later sharing requests arrive. Stop, completion and cancellation remove the current record. Browser or network restrictions can interrupt sharing; it is not continuous background tracking or a guaranteed arrival estimate.

Contract chats show job progress and the agreed service location when provided. For home and on-site services, the assigned tasker can report being on the way, arriving at the destination, starting work and finishing work. Online jobs use work-progress steps without travel updates. Delivery chats also show route pins and optional rider location. Arrival and work updates are statements by the tasker, not GPS-verified attendance or payment verification. The client separately confirms completion. Progress reports and timestamps are part of the private contract record. Task and contract message entry points may reuse the same job thread so earlier messages are preserved.

When you use Quick Match or phone alerts

When you go available, the city and services you choose and how long you are available, so nearby clients' requests can reach you. Quick Match requests include the service, description, address or landmark, time and price, and are shared only with the available taskers they are sent to. If you turn on phone alerts, we store the delivery address your browser gives us for that device; you can turn alerts off at any time.

When you use company hiring

Vacancies, applications, answers to screening questions, résumés you upload, interview details, and messages. Companies may add private notes about applicants. Company verification requests may include business documents.

When you set up or report a direct payment

If you choose to save a payment option, we store its type, account name and number, bank name if applicable, verification status, and your optional verified contact mobile. These details are private and are shared with the other party only on an accepted or completed contract. SMS verification checks access to a phone number; it does not verify wallet or bank ownership or match an account name. When SMS is enabled, Semaphore receives the destination phone number and verification message. Never enter your GCash, Maya or bank password, wallet PIN or their own OTPs on TaskGO.

Payment reports include the amount, method, optional reference and receipt screenshot, provider confirmation or issue, and correction history. The two contract parties can see attached evidence; authorized owner staff can access it when a related report exists. Unattached receipt drafts expire after 24 hours and are removed by scheduled cleanup. Attached evidence follows the retention of the related contract or report. Payment reports and screenshots are not public reviews or independently verified transfers.

Company service assignments

When a company assigns a customer booking, we store the invited service worker, their acceptance or decline, shared job instructions and assignment history. Pending workers see a summary; after acceptance, the current active worker can see the private job location, progress, attached purchase receipt and shared job chat with the client and company owner. Assignment changes or an ended service-team connection revoke worker operational access. Earlier direct conversations and company payment settings are not shared. The company remains the contract provider, payment recipient and review subject.

Optional pilot feedback

If you choose to submit the pilot survey, we store your account ID, selected role and goal, outcome, 1–5 scores, optional comments, consent and optional follow-up preference. These answers are visible to you and authorized owner staff, separately from public reviews. You can update or withdraw your answers through Pilot feedback. Withdrawal removes the answer fields from the stored response and staff results; an account-linked version and withdrawal timestamp remain to prevent conflicting edits. Staff may export survey results for pilot evaluation. Existing exports and backups may require a separate removal request through Contact.

When you contact support

The name you give, optional email or phone number, and your messages with our support team.

Technical information

Sign-in session information, and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address used only to limit repeated sign-in and spam attempts. Our hosting provider processes standard request information to deliver and secure the website.

3. Why we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who can see your information

5. Service providers

TaskGO PH runs on Cloudflare (website hosting, database, file storage and visit statistics). Maps use OpenStreetMap tiles; its tile service receives the map tile requests and normal browser network information needed to show the selected area. When a delivery participant taps Get directions, TaskGO PH sends that person’s current GPS position and the selected pickup or destination pin (coordinates only, without names or account details) to the OSRM routing service run by FOSSGIS e.V. in Germany to calculate the road route. TaskGO PH does not store these route requests. Cloudflare processes information on our behalf to provide these services and may store it in data centres outside the Philippines. If you turn on phone alerts, your browser's push service (for example Google for Chrome or Apple for Safari) delivers a wake-up signal to your device; the signal carries no message content, and your device then fetches the alert text from TaskGO PH. We use providers that protect information with appropriate security measures.

6. Cookies and browser storage

7. How long we keep information

We keep account and profile information while your account is active. Records of contracts, cash acknowledgments, reviews, reports and moderation actions may be kept longer when needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or meet legal requirements. Replaced or removed profile and work photos are deleted from storage. To close your account or ask for deletion, contact us; we will explain anything we must keep and why.

8. How we protect it

Passwords are hashed, sign-in cookies cannot be read by page scripts, requests are protected against cross-site forgery, résumés and private files are stored privately with access checks, and staff access is limited by role. No online service is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as the law requires.

9. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access your information, to object to processing, to have inaccurate information corrected, to have information erased or blocked where the law allows, to data portability, to claim damages, and to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission. You can update most profile information yourself in Edit profile. For other requests, contact us through Contact; we may need to confirm your identity first.

TaskGO PH is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes and contact

We will update this notice when our practices change and show the new version date. For questions, contact us through Contact.
